The Jilin Branch of CNPC Logging actively strives to establish itself as a green enterprise, continuously engaging in voluntary tree planting and biodiversity conservation efforts. In collaboration with the local Shanyou Forest Farm, they have planted 2,000 trees, laid 1,000 square meters of lawn within the factory area, and replenished 30 various trees, thereby creating a green factory environment. During pressure logging operations, the company seeks efficient and environmentally friendly methods to handle overflows generated in the process. They have introduced a vehicular wastewater reinjection system to pressurize and treat the wastewater from testing wells, achieving on-site storage of wastewater and closed-loop control within the reinjection wells. To date, the branch has utilized the wastewater reinjection system for nearly 3,600 pressure logging operations, reducing carbon emissions during construction while avoiding ground pollution that may occur during wastewater transportation and disposal. This has significantly enhanced the company’s environmentally friendly construction capabilities, reduced the need for wastewater collection vehicles by over 1,700 trips, and achieved green development with energy savings and efficiency improvements. Through these practical actions, the company is safeguarding the “lush mountains and clear waters.”
