Diablo 4 developer Blizzard is about to hold a live stream event to preview the new season. Diablo 4 Season of the Blood has an October 17 release date on all platforms. With the launch of the new season just a few weeks away, Blizzard will hold a developer live stream to outline some of the new features and quality of life changes coming to Diablo 4. The Diablo 4 developer live stream will take place on October 4 at 7pm BST UK time. And the good news is you can watch the entire stream right here by clicking play on the YouTube embed below.
Blizzard explains more: “Join members of the development team along with associate director of community Adam Fletcher, who will unveil the vampiric scourge that has descended on Sanctuary and the sinister power they possess.
“Learn what it will take to fight against this rising tide of evil and harness the power of their potent blood for your own means.”
According to Blizzard, the live stream will also outline new features such as additional Stash space and functionality, improvements to Dungeons, Mounts, and more.Â
Fans will also be able to submit questions to the development team, which will be answered at the end of the broadcast.
This week’s broadcast will be followed by a Campfire Chat that will focus on class balance changes and re-works to several in-game systems. This will take place on October 10.
The new season will add five new and returning endgame bosses, updates to renown rewards, updates to gem and stash storage, as well as updates to resistance and status effects.
In terms of gameplay tweaks, fans can expect more efficient Inventory management for Gems, plus changes to the functionality of status effects such as Vulnerable, Overpower, Critical Strike Damage and also Elemental Resistances.
Unveiled during gamescom Opening Night Live, Diablo 4 Season 2 has an October 17 release date on all platforms.
It replaces the current season – Season of Malignant – which adds multiple new enemies and bosses, as well as a boatload of exclusive rewards.
